Recent Fall Ball Results
September 19-20
It was a so-so weekend for BHAA's fallballers. The seniors split a pair of games with Bauerstown, blowing out their opponents in the first game, then falling 3-1 in the rematch. The pony team struggled on both sides of the ball this weekend, enduring 10-run routs by both Fox Chapel and Ingomar at home. They look to rebound against Deer Lakes on September 27 in hopes of avenging a pair of one-run losses earlier this season. The junior squad lost to both North Hills squads on Sunday. Alex Frick's homerun, miracle catch in right, and three-strikeout pitching debut salvaged the day, as did a pair of singles by Declan Walkush. No results were reported from the farm team's Saturday contest with North Hills.

Junior Fallballers play to 6-6 tie at Bauerstown: The junior squad rebounded nicely from the weekend by slowly but surely putting runs on the board at Bauerstown. At one point, BHAA led 5-1 behind hitting by Malcolm Bowman (double), Aidan Knupsky, Shane Ferris, and Richie Boscardin. Jason Weaver performed well on the mound and at first, recording an unassisted double play. Guest players Jordan Albright and Caleb Little-Poole helped the short squad come away with a tie on the scoreboard and a victory at heart. Ferris also made a strong pitching debut late game.

September 12-13
Farm League: In their season opener with North Hills, the Farm Fallballers came to play and play as a team. They "rocked" coach Matt Koval on the mound and gave their families reason to cheer in a 16-5 win. Leading the charge going 3-for-3 were Ryan Kosylo, Alex Baron, Zachary Beckman, Josh Koval, Caleb Little-Poole, Chris Uribe, and Matthew Laughlin.

Junior Little League: Despite opening their season two weeks ago with an impressive roll over North Hills, the junior squad struggled on Sunday, falling first to Bellevue-Avalon 11-8, and then to Sto-Rox 15-1. BHAA fell behind early to Bellevue, but managed to battle back to keep it close, thanks in no small part to a soaring homerun by Alex Frick and a breakout performance by Richie Boscardin. But the rally caps petered out in the second game, as BHAA could not rejuvenate its bats. Boscardin, Luke Calderaro, Aidan Knupsky, Malcolm Bowman, Declan Walkush, and Jason Weaver all pitched this day. The juniors look to bounce back on Wednesday against Bauerstown.

Senior Little League: The Senior Fallballers jumped out to a 4-0 start to their season, racking up victories this weekend over Bauerstown, Sto-Rox and Deer Lakes, using 10 different pitchers along the way.

Pony League: The Pony Fallballers returned to Bairdford Park on Sunday to avenge last weekend's 4-3 loss to Deer Lakes. Despite a late-game rally to tie the score, Brighton Heights went home equally frustrated on the losing end of a 6-5 game. Tyler Cervone contributed a triple and a single, while DaRon Clark wowed on defense. Thorin Knupsky, Ryan Kirby, Mark Lodge and Clark split time on the hill.
